Siglen Uchaf is a small stone farm situated on the West side of the Clwydian Mountain Range, with spectacular panoramic views over the Vale of Clwyd and towards Snowdonia.

Quad Architect’s challenging brief was to create 3 small but separate dwellings in the farm house and outbuildings. The solution was to extend the ground floor of the main farm house to provide and open plan living/ dining space and a further multi-functional space with bathroom at a lower level with grass roof avoiding taking the view away from the original house. Completed in 2013, the new build elements are contemporary in form built using stone, timber and zinc to complement the old farm house and outbuildings.
