Quad was the developer and architect for the Ink Building which occupies the site of a former printworks in North Kensington. The scheme of 108 apartments consists of three distinct blocks, one fronting Barlby Road, next to the Victorian Pall Mall Deposit, and two blocks of affordable housing set in an open courtyard in the southern portion of the site.

The scheme, which features sinuous curved rust coloured external balconies, has become a local landmark and is often seen at the starting point of many displays for the Notting Hill Carnival.

The development proved extremely popular and was the fastest selling residential development in London when launched in 2009.
