Set within a secluded woodland plot, the design of this house was conceived as a part one and part two storey arrangement of interconnecting volumes and surfaces. Set very specifically on the site to avoid any damage to the numerous mature oak trees that dominate the site and woods beyond. Internal & external spaces are connected via large frameless glass windows and level thresholds. Materials with a natural, muted palette were used for surface finishes internally to draw the eye to the garden landscape & tree canopies.
